This is a framework to guide students' thinking about their core competency development as they prepare for student-led conferences.

Students are invited to select artifacts/evidence that demonstrate their progress in all three competency areas, reflect on why they chose the artifact, and describe their plan for improvement.

This means that students are not only sharing their academic development with parents, they are also sharing their core competency development as well. Teachers may also choose to use this document as a formal competency self-reflection to be included with report card documents.
