Core Skills - Early Learning - Addition Math Cards – numbers 6-10
In the early stages of learning addition and subtraction children need the support of visual images that equate to the numbers in the algorithm. These Math Cards supply this vital component. Images are presented with the algorithm beneath
The children have a reinforcement of both parts of the algorithm. The two parts of the algorism are shown in different colors. The numerals are shown below these. In this way they have a visual image of the first number and the second number. They can then start equating the visual images with the shape of the numerals they represent and can check their answer with the total of the shapes.
If the cards are laminated the answer can be written on the card in non-permanent marker and rubbed off.
This pack contains forty-four cards.
