Description

These Core Vocabulary Classroom labels include (16) 2 word core phrases with pictures that students should be encouraged to use throughout the day. These visual supports can be placed around the classroom on chairs, windows, desks, doors, and in various areas throughout the classroom. The visuals are a great tool to prompt students to use core vocabulary and communicate more effectively with verbal speech or communication devices.

Visuals and locations for use include:
-Work here (put on desk/table)
-help do (Put in all areas of the room)
-get this (put near toys or materials out of reach)
-get that
-What time (put by clock)
-come in (put on doors)
-go out
-take out (put on boxes or bags materials are in)
-put in
-give out (by papers, materials, folders, binders, to be passed to students)
-where go (put by schedules or by doors to discuss location of next activity)
-look out (put on windows)
-turn on (by light switches, computers, ipads, tv, smartboard, radio)
-turn off
-sit down (on chairs)
-get down (by materials that are out of reach)

Assembly:
-Laminate
-cut
-staple or tape around the room
