This fun corn craft can be used during a farm, vegetable, or fall unit. It can incorporate art into any lesson involving corn, and makes a great display in your room or hallway! Your students can simply color the picture, or use the optional materials listed in order to create the corn cobs. There are also labels for the parts of your corn cob in order to easily transition this into a science activity.
We made these after studying different examples of dried corn, and looking through seed catalogs to see what colors corn can be. You can offer just one or several of the materials listed for your students to choose from so they understand that corn comes in different varieties.
