Cornelius Reader's Response

Use this great primary lined reader's response after reading Leo Lionni's wonderful story "Cornelius." This worksheet will help students make personal connections to the text and help build self-esteem, by tasking students to recall a time in which they were proud of something they accomplished. Clear directions and writers prompts will help K-3 students remain on task. This packet also includes three different kinds of graphic organizers a "beginning, middle, and end" organizer focusing on plot, a Venn Diagram (comparing and contrasting the main character and student), and a character map for Cornelius (focusing on traits).
