I used to print out hundreds of Cornell Notes for my 10th grade World History students until one day I got tired of it and realized I wasn't doing my students any favors. So instead, I created this bookmark as a guide for students to create their own Cornell Notes on their own notebook paper. It includes a "Step-by-step" guide to using the Cornell Note method in easy to follow wording.
Each copy of this document will make 3 bookmarks, each a little under 2.5'' wide, perfect for creating the left side column. Print it out on cardstock and hole punch and it should last all year.
What makes it "Chase" Style? I don't require my students to write a summary at the end of their notes. Our textbook has that written for them already so most of the time they just copy that and it doesn't do them any good.
