As we work toward higher-order thinking and meeting the Common Core Standards with our students, we have to think about helping them to take ownership of their own understanding. One vital skill students need is note-taking.
This little packet includes templates for the Cornell Notes for keywords, questions, and main ideas. It also includes a summary. Cute graphics have been added to make it more visually appealing.
I have also included some writing prompt paper and a planning web to encourage content writing in Science. There is a set of writing paper with just a place for a prompt and a set that includes a place to utilize RAFT (Role, Audience, Format, Topic.)
