- PPTX (26 pages)

Description
For centuries, humans have looked to journals as primary sources for eyes into the past. Take pride in the knowledge that your students work in this journal is very important to the documentation of human history!
The activities in this journal will ask students to:
●document information and key terms
●think and write
●cultivate and share images and media
●question and research and reference
●collect and read important articles
●create and use maps, graphs and tables
●have fun with memes
Students can work on different parts of their journal daily, but you don’t need to work on it from beginning to end. You/They may even choose to delete activities or add your/their own.
Students may also choose to share their journal with friends, classmates and family for their feedback or input .
There is not a marking scheme with this journal. Its goal is to engage students in the moment of history they are currently living, and to document their experience. When they return to school (if they are currently learning at home), it would be a great sharing piece to start off fresh with!
