In this game, players take on the roles of four members of the Lewis and Clark expedition: Lewis, Clark, Sacagawea, and York. This is a light deck-building game wherein players will be drafting supplies, documenting new plant and animal species, sighting natural landmarks, and attempting peaceful encounters with Native American groups. This is a great reward or review at the end of a unit about the Corps of Discovery, or as a fun way to expose students to the vocabulary and events along the trail.
This is a game for 2-4 players and will take about 30-45 minutes to play. Play can be shortened if needed by cutting half of the deck out of the game.
You will need to print approximately 20 pages (in color) for this game, and will also need to provide a die with only numbers 1-3 on it. A printable version is also available in the file if needed.
