Count, Doodle and Write!
We love integrating Math and ELA together. These printables are just the thing for our little ones to practice both. They love cracking codes, they love to doodle and they are so proud of themselves when they write a story.
Count, Doodle and Write : 3 letter Animals will give your students practice following three step directions, counting, reading and writing complete sentences.
The doodling component teaches them about shapes, symmetry, shapes in the real world ,hand control, problem solving skills, adding details, and developing their imagination just to name a few.
We use these for morning work, center time, small group instruction, when we have a sub, end of the day down time before they go home, and homework. For our RtI kiddos, we partner pair them to work together so they receive a sense of accomplishment and success.
Common Core Aligned: for Kindergarten and First grade.
