Apple Themed Count & Match File Folder Game | Early Learning Math Activities:

This Apple Themed file folder game is a super cute fall activity!

Your students will count how many apples are on each flashcard and then match it to the correct numerical number that is on each apple basket. It’s a great way for your students to practice one-to-one correspondence as well as number recognition practice.

Objective: To help your students use one-to-one correspondence and count different amounts of apples from 1-10. This activity will also help your students identify numbers 1-10.

Prep: This file folder game is simple to download and print. Once printed, you will attach the 2 pages with numerical numbers on them to the file folder as well as the front cover page. After that, cut out and laminate the number flashcards. Once that is done, I recommend putting a velcro dot below the handle on the baskets as well as on the back of the flashcards. This will make the matching process easier for both you and your students!

Directions: Once the file folder is put together your students will count how many apples are on each flashcard and then attach it to the corresponding number basket.
