Description

Community Helper Theme Count & Match File Folder Game | Early Learning Math Activities | One-To-One Correspondence:

This Community Helper Themed file folder game is a super cute early learning activity! The colorful mailboxes have numerical numbers on them (1-20) and the “mailpiece” flashcards have the corresponding number of dots 1-20 on them.

Your students will count how many dots are on each flashcard and then match it to the correct numerical number that is on each mailbox. It’s a great way for your students to practice one-to-one correspondence as well as number recognition practice 1-20.

Objective: To help your students use one-to-one correspondence and count different amounts of dots from 1-20. This activity will also help your students identify and name numbers 1-20.

Prep: This file folder game is simple to download and print. Once printed, you will attach the 2 pages with numerical numbers on them to the file folder as well as the front cover page. After that, cut out and laminate the flashcards. Once that is done, I recommend putting a velcro dot somewhere on each mailbox attached to the file folder as well as on the back of the flashcards. This will make the matching process easier for both you and your students!

Directions: Once the file folder is put together, your students will count how many dots are on each flashcard and then place it on the corresponding number.
