In this activity featuring apples, students will practice counting quantities 1-5 and/or 1-10 as well as working to develop fine and visual motor skills. Two versions of two different opportunities make this a very versatile product. Students identify the number on the left then color the corresponding quantity of apples in that row. Download contains one set of the activity with visual support (items not needing to be colored are 50% lighter that items to be colored). Activity is applicable for any student working on beginning counting skills. Could be used for teaching, assessment, or fun independent work. Great for students with Autism or other special needs as it is a closed ended activity and could even be broken into smaller activities. Also good for younger siblings who want “work” like their big brothers or sisters. Designed by Lee Ann Mahoney. Credit to mycutegraphics.com for all images.
