Get set for autumn with this Count & Write the Room game. It works on counting and writing numbers to 10, as well as practice at copying words. First, students hunt around the room to find the counting cards; then, they count the autumn objects in the ten frames; last, they write the autumn words beside the correct number. This is a cross-curricular game that uses words and pictures for writing, but it also works on counting numbers up to 10. Fun and learning at the same time!
I created three sets of this game inside this file, two sets having different background papers and one set being an “ink saving” set. Choose the set you want to use.
This game has very easy set up: print on cardstock, laminate, cut apart, post around the room, copy the student recording sheets. Easy! I have provided an answer key for students to check themselves or for teacher use.
