This is a bundle. This is a set of 2 math presentations for students to practice skip-counting by showing a hundred chart on each slide. On the hundred chart, numbers are isolated through color, size, and highlighting to show what numbers should be said in the count by pattern. The presentation shows each skip-counting sequence forwards then backwards.
Here the 2 presentations show counting by 10s and 5s.
This presentation not only helps the student practice counting, but helps develop number sense as this skill transitions to repeated addition and eventually multiplication facts.
This activity can be led whole class at the carpet area as a part of morning routines, math warmups, calendar, or in small groups.
Specific standards/objectives are listed after the title slide.
This is a PowerPoint presentation. The teacher will have to use arrows (or a clicker) to move the slides for flexible lesson pacing, especially wait/think time.
PLEASE NOTE: PowerPoint is a .pptx file. This means it was generated using Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation version 2016. The thumbnails do not support this format. Thus, there is a slight differentiation between fonts used and sizing between the actual product and this preview.
