Product Description
There are four different hands-on activities to supplement your teaching on 1:1 correspondence.

Stack 'Em Up Stacks:
These mats can be used with Unifix cubes, linking cubes, or even Legos. *This one-to-one counting activity gives students practice with seeing a numeral and knowing “how many” that numeral stands for.

Play-Doh Numeral Mats:
These mats can be used with play-doh, wiki sticks, or even dry-erase markers. *This one-to-one counting activity gives students practice with seeing a numeral and knowing “how many” that numeral stands for. Students also have the opportunity to make the numeral itself.

Put Together Cards:
These cards can be used with Unifix cubes, linking chains, counting bears, or any other manipulative you feel will work best. *This pre-addition, one-to-one counting activity gives students practice with seeing a numeral and knowing “how many” that numeral stands for. Students “put together” sets of an object, in order to build pre-addition knowledge.

Count-the-Room:
Place the cards around the room. Have students walk around the room and count the number of community helpers on each card. Students will need a copy of the recording sheet, to record their findings. *This one-to-one counting activity gives students practice with counting “how many” and gives them practice for writing the number represented.
