This game will provide students with practice in counting, identifying numbers, and the use of counting strategies. It contains dot cards with various arrangements of dots for each number, similar to what we use while doing Number Talks (Sherry Parish). I encourage you to have students identify HOW they arrived at their answer each time, as they will benefit from consistently considering, articulating and discussing number strategies. There are six game boards for each level so that the games can be introduced during small group instruction. Three levels of differentiation were designed to meet a variety of ability levels and needs.
