This is an activity that I used to do with my first graders. It is similar to an advent calendar. Each day, the students would come in, get themselves organized, and do their countdown activity for the day.
The activities are not too time consuming that kids cannot finish them from day to day.
To save ink, I have done this in BLACK AND WHITE.
