This packet includes a quick and easy snowman craft (and most importantly, requires minimal supplies and minimal prep!). After assembling the snowman, students can spin the nose around the face to indicate how many days until Christmas.
*Teacher tips and prep instructions
*2 visual instruction sheets for students - includes written direction and picture of task
*4 snowman templates - 2 for 8.5x11 paper (color and B&W) and 2 for 11x17 paper (color and B&W)
Each template size is in both color and black and white. If you want the students to color the snowman's nose, eyes and cheeks, you can print the black and white version and the corresponding visual instruction sheet. If you want the students to simply cut and assemble the pieces, print the colored template and instructions.
Materials: scissors, glue, template printouts and brads
Prep: print snowman templates and slice small hole in nose
Note: The written instructions were designed for my students with autism. Therefore, they have simple and basic sentences skipping words such as 'the' (Cut out snowman head instead of Cut out the snowman head). The grammar isn't necessarily wrong but may it sound funny!
File is zipped for organization and convenience but is 4 PDF files.
