Activity sheets to help students practice counting back from ten and then, in reverse, counting up to ten. Great with any version of "Ten in the Bed."
Children's picture books add so much to many math concepts; they are fun, engaging, and helpful--especially with explanations of how numbers work.
I created these activity sheets to accompany Penny Dale's Ten in The Bed. My students had a great time choosing the animals they wanted on their beds; and having the animals on and off each bed helped my little "counters" complete those "tricky" number sentences. Students love to sing "roll over, roll over" over and over. The singing and the animals help students learn more about the magic number "ten" as they cut, count, sing, and paste.
