Counting Backwards Task Cards: This engaging activity is designed to increase number fluency. Students pick a colorful card and follow the directions to count backwards from a starting number to a specific ending number. (For example: Start counting backwards from 80. Stop counting at 68.)

Print the cards on heavy card stock and laminate for a reusable resource. This can be used as a whole group or center activity.
