Fall themed Money Match - Math Centres for October and November
- reading money amounts, counting change, counting coins, matching money amounts to correct change

The following expectations are covered during this activity (from the Grade 1, 2, 3 Ontario Curriculum):
–  identify and describe various coins (i.e., nickel, dime, quarter), using coin drawings, and state their value
–  represent money amounts to $1.00
–  count forward by 5’s, 10’s and 25’s to 100, using a variety of tools and strategies (e.g., place counters on a hundreds chart; count groups of nickels, dimes, quarters)

Includes:
- 14 sets of cards matching money amounts to the correct change
- 4 different hundreds charts to use as scaffolded counting tools
