Let’s Count Chinese Coins and Bills using Tens Frames:
This set uses tens frames for counting coins and bills. This set is similar to China Money / Count Money from China! except those do not use tens frames.
Practice counting and writing numbers to 20 using Chinese coins and bills called yuan. There are two sets – one set shows coins and one set shows bills. Each set includes 24 cards, a recording sheet, and an answer key. Or you can mix the cards for more variety, making your own answer key. (A blank one is included.) These cards are great for Scoot or to use in a math center.
How to Use:
Scoot: Spread all 24 cards out on students’ desks and give each student a recording sheet. The students scoot around the room, solving the cards and recording the answer on the corresponding box on the answer sheet.
Centers: Use one set or both in your math centers. Make copies of the recording sheets and set up the answer key for self-correcting.
