Candy Corn Counting Clip Cards is a terrific way to assist students in counting numbers 1-20. According to Common Core Standard K.CC.B.5, students must count to answer "how many?" questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration. In order for students to practice this standard, I used candy corn arranged in a line for numbers 1-20, candy corn in scattered sets for numbers 1-20, and as an added bonus, I have included candy corn in a line to practice number words 1-20.
How to Play:
The student will choose one card. Count the number of candy corn on the card. Place a clothespin on the correct answer. Student turns over the card to see if the answer is correct.
There are cards for the following:
Numbers 1-20 arranged in a line and find the numeral for the answer
Numbers 1-20 arranged in a scattered set and find the numeral for the answer
Numbers 1-20 arranged in a line and find number word for the answer
