Another simple, practical worksheet (my specialty), this time for beginning coin-counters. Students simply highlight to show how to count to a dollar using the given coins. I think it helps kids see how tedious counting pennies is, especially in comparison to quarters, which is just 4 hops. They are usually well able to count by ones, fives and tens and can become just as proficient with 25-50-75-$1!. Just another way to show the comparative values of coins.
Print in color if you want kids to see color differences in coins.
