Practice counting coins with this engaging game practicing counting a collection of coins up to $1 ! Students practice recognizing coin faces, including specialty quarters, and finding the value for a collection of coins.
3 counting coins games are included: pennies and dimes; pennies, nickels, and dimes; and pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. They are broken into these denominations as students are able to start with dimes and pennies quickly and easily before skip counting with other amounts. Both front and backs of coins are included with 4 different varieties of backs of quarters (3 states and 1 national landmark).
This no-prep blackline game is ready for playing. Just print, cut, and play, or copy on colored paper and laminate for future use. The corresponding Powerpoint files manage the game all on its own. Click the button to randomize the order and push start, and it will play and display, making it easy on you!. It can be randomized for every play, keeping the game fresh and fun for students. With only 15 numbers on the game card, students can quickly find and identify the numbers. 30 different game cards are included, so even large class sizes can easily play. Complete setup directions are included.
Note: The game is self timed. Because it's designed to build mental math fluency, it's timed to be fairly quick and some struggling students may not keep up. The game time may be adjusted just as you would with any other Powerpoint.
