Product Description
Coins is my Pocket is a perfect way to help your students practice counting money. Students will count money by combinations of coins through 1 dollar.

One worksheet asks students to identify coins and skip count by like coins up to one dollar. There are worksheets where students identify the coins in each pocket. These 4 worksheets are differentiated. (Like coins, combinations of two coins, combinations of three coins, and combinations of four coins.)

Answer keys are included for all 5 worksheets.

There are two options for center activities. Both activities use the same amounts written on pockets. Included are blank pockets in case you want to write your own amounts. You can laminate the pockets and use a dry erase marker to easily change the numbers.

First activity - students have to use coins to make the amounts. The recording sheet asks students to draw coins using p for penny, n for nickel, d for dime, and q for quarter.

Second activity - students pick 3 amounts and make each amount using two different coin combinations. The recording sheet also asks students to draw coins using p for penny, n for nickel, d for dime, and q for quarter.
