Counting Coins Scoot - Pokemon Inspired
Practice counting coins by 2s, 5s, and 10s with this fun and engaging SCOOT game! In this activity, I have used a mix of front and backs of coins in order to give students more exposure to identifying coins from either side. These can also be used as task cards for independent practice or fast finishers.
~24 full color Scoot cards
~24 ink saving Scoot cards (all black and white except for the Pokemon characters)
~4 different recording sheet options
~Answer Key (A few answers are the same, but they are from different sets of coins. This leads to great discussions! For example: 4 dimes = 8 nickels)
TEKS 1.4c Use relationships to count by twos, fives, and tens to determine the value of a collection of pennies, nickels, and/or dimes.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
