Product Description
Math can sometimes get a bit hairy, but with The Hair Method counting coins is a breeze! Simply have your students draw a hair (line) above each coin for every five cents that coin is worth. For example: Pennies will have no hair, nickels will have one hair, dimes will have two hairs, and quarters will have five hairs. Have students count by fives for each hair and then add the pennies that are left.
