Counting objects 1-10 Cat Theme Interactive PowerPoint!
Counting is an important early math literacy skill that is the foundation of later math skills. Students will be engaged while practicing their counting with this interactive powerpoint. The powerpoint has 2 parts.
Part 1- The powerpoint will display an amount of objects (balls of yarn) and students will count and draw counters to show the number (must use an ACTIVboard or a type of software that allows students to write on the surface).
Part 2- Students will count the balls of yarn displayed in the 5-frame and click the correct number. Students will be applauded (sound embedded in the powerpoint) when they click on the correct number.
Directions for use:
-Open the powerpoint (2006 version or newer) *Make sure sound is on*
-Begin Slideshow- Click Start
-When each slide is completed, click the arrows to advance to the next slide
