Product Description
Did you know jellyfish can have up to 45 tentacles? I didn't either, but when I discovered that fact it became the inspiration for this file folder / math center activity!

The concept is simple:
One friend attaches as many tentacles as he / she wants onto the jellyfish. (Tentacles = different types of string or yarn). Then the second friend counts the tentacles, removes them and makes a new jellyfish.

This activity is open-ended in that the students can attach as many tentacles as they can count. Unlike many other counting activities, the students do not need to stop counting at 10 or 20.

For best results:
Print these onto card stock, laminate, then attach a piece of Velcro.
