This is one of our favorite activities! My students love using playdoh, cubes, and dry erase markers on this mat to practice numbers to twenty. I recommend printing on card stock and laminating for durability and repeated use. My students use these mats at an independent math center. These mats give students an opportunity to practice fine motor skills rolling out playdoh and shaping it to make the number, and rolling playdoh balls to count and place on the ten frame. Students will also practice counting the fingers, stacking the number of cubes, and writing the number with dry erase markers.
