This activity is a creative way for students to practice counting money and recognizing that money can be represented in many different coin combinations! After doing this activity as a class, I turn it into a center or assign for homework. The different handouts allow for differentiation of instruction without changing the level of academic rigor. Students also practice utilizing charts to show and analyze data.
