I created this activity to help my students practice counting coins. It is 10 pages long. Glue the first two pages onto a file folder or laminate and use. Pages 3-8 have currency amounts and flies. Each game piece is made of the currency box and the fly box under it. Cut out the game piece and fold so that the fly is on one side and the money is on the other side. Glue and laminate if desired. The children count the money and feed the frogs the flies with the matching amounts. There are 30 game pieces in all, 5 for each frog. I have included an answer sheet with the corresponding numbers for each frog amount. You can have the students fill out the student sheet and turn it in, work with a partner who checks if their work is correct, or use it as a self-evaulation center. This center activity utilizes dollars, dollar coins, half-dollars, quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies.
