Product includes two counting mats.
- one mat is 1-10
-one mat is 11-20
(Use with connecting cubes)
These counting mats make for a quick and easy math station for grades k-1. I printed them on colored card stock and laminated them.
• Use connecting cubes and have them count out the correct number of cubes for each number on the mat. (They love filling their mats with all of the mini towers!)
• Compare the towers by looking at the number counted and the length.
• For backward counting practice have them count back from the number they built as they take the towers apart.
K.1.1.3- Count with and without objects, forward and backward to at least 20.
K.1.1.5- Compare and order whole numbers, with and without objects, from 0-20.
K.C.C.B.4-Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connecting counting to cardinality.
K.C.C.C.6-Identify whether the number of objects in one group is greater than, less than, or equal to, the number of objects in another group.
