This is a great activity for Pre K or Kindergarten students that are working on their counting skills. Print activity on card stock, laminate, then cut each picture on the lines. Place each set of strips in a baggy. When students receive a baggy of numbers, they will need to lay them in order to create a picture. Not only do students need to be able to skip count, they first have to figure out the counting pattern in order to complete the puzzle. Have them point to each number after they have completed the puzzle to practice counting!
This activity includes 10 different counting puzzles with ocean animals theme. Counting puzzles include skip counting by 5's and 10's, counting backwards, and counting on from a number between 1 and 100.
