Prekindergarten is a time for play and learning through play. Children need to be moving and playing to truly learn. These lessons target your kinesthetic learners as they develop a deeper understanding of numbers 1-5 and sorting. Many of these activities require the children to throw, jump, or build with blocks. They will have the opportunity to sort, compose and decompose numbers, explore the concept of one more/one less, practice counting out the corresponding number of objects, and practice counting on from a random number (not having to start with zero).
This product aligns with Module 1 of Eureka for Prekindergarten and each activity/game lists the specific lesson alignment. It is intended to supplement the curriculum.
