These worksheets give students practice counting how many protons, neutrons, and electrons there are in a neutral atom of an element.
There are 6 different worksheets with 10 elements on each page. Each worksheet also has an answer key with it. The first 2 worksheets have the first 20 elements on the periodic table. The next 4 have a random selection from the remaining elements.
These are good to use as a review or to give to tutorial students who need extra practice counting the number of subatomic particles. You can print them and laminate them and have students use dry erase or Vis-a-Vis markers to answer them. They can then self check themselves with the answer key.
