This resource will help you keep track of how many days we have been in school along with helping with number recognition, patterning and skip counting. It consists of multicultural children holding numbers from 1-220. One child is put up each day you are in school. They are placed side by side and it becomes a People Parade.
The children in the parade come in a pattern of ten children. Each day you can discuss the pattern. Once the parade begins to grow, you can count by 5’s and 10’s.
These multicultural children can also be used to number things in the classroom such as tables, cubbies, computers or coat hooks.
