This is a recording sheet for counting and recording tens and ones counted as well as recording the numeral. Students are also to use the number line to show how they counted, whether it's by ones, twos, fives, or tens. During this lesson I usually allow them to complete it however they wish at first and then discuss how efficient it is to count by tens. I will use this same lesson again and observe how students are counting large quantities. This activity helps with number sense, place value and using number lines to count.
Please leave feedback for this FREEBIE! I'd truly appreciate it.
