Teaching student's with Autism I have come up with a style that uses Velcro and Laminated worksheets for them. These worksheets once mastered can be part of an acquired skills bin that can be added to an activity schedule.
Sometime teaching students with autism is not about the content (money skills are good to have though) but more about the focus and recognition of completing a task.
This is a counting by 5's activity. There are boards you can laminate for independent practice. There is a larger board provided that allows the teacher to add real nickels to the circle. You can target specific amounts and use in a discrete trial.
