This simple counting activity can be used as an assessment of student knowledge of numbers from 1-20. Students must match the numeral to the group of jellybeans representing that number.
This task can be differentiated to meet the needs of students by working with only some of the numbers or all of the numbers.
- 1-20 coloured matching cards for whole class/small group/individual use
- BLM activity pages for 1-10, 11-20 (or use both for 1-20)
