My students love these! I copy about 7 pages and a cover back to back to make a little journal. We work on these over the course of a month or so. I have a few good atlases to use and 3rd graders can do research on the computer. Some kids finish several journals a year!
These country research journal templates are a great way for your students to engage in beginning research, while finding out interesting facts about any country. The sheets are 8.5" by 14", used horizontally, giving them plenty of space to write answers neatly.
Two differentiated journal spreads are included. I use one for 1st and 2nd grades, the other for older grades. I model doing research using an atlas for everyone in the class before they work independently. These can be used as a single sheet, too-great for classwork, homework, and early finishers.
These are great for traditional classrooms, Montessori classrooms, homeschooling and after school enrichment.
