Kids can learn about different countries through this very fun activity of making their own houses and building a special country village.
What students can learn about each country: Country's flag, map, and basic facts including population, capital city, favorite sport, and spoken languages.
Each house is easy to make by simple cutting and pasting!
Step 1. Cut the following pieces out:
- Country name
- Picture of Flag (Black line)
- Picture of Map (Black line)
- Country Facts
- Picture of themselves welcoming people to the house.
Step 2. Stick these pieces onto the house in the given spaces because they are either banners, windows or posters for the house!
Step 3. Cut out the house, fold across the dotted lines, stick and glue the red dotted line.
Step 4. Color the houses and they are ready to go.
Step 5. Gather all the completed to create the country village!
