I use behavior coupons in my classroom to reward good behavior. I have my coupons laminated so I have the students turn in their coupon that they have earned in order to reedeem them. Because of this, I wanted to make some quick notes to send home with my students.
These notes go home the night before the students want to redeem their coupon. The notes serve as recognition so that the parents see how well their child has been behaving. Some of them also help by asking the parents to prepare their child in order to use the coupon. For example, if a child earns a "fluffy friend" coupon the parents can help them pick out and pack the stuffed animal they want to bring to school the next day.
I have found this system to be very effective and the parents really appreciate the small gesture. They like to be kept in the loop and the children love to have something to take home and show their parents!
These notes also have helped keep my reward coupons for many years. I do not need to keep reprinting, using colored ink, and re laminating every year. When the students turn them back in they keep well!
This pack includes many different reward coupon notes in both color and black and white. However, most of these were made in reference to the amazing @proudtobeprimary coupon reward pack. So you may want to go check those out as well!!
