Product Description
Courageous Character Foldable: Easy Literacy Center
Are you studying Martin Luther King Junior? Rosa Parks? Amelia Earhart? Helen Keller? Cesar Chavez?
**************************************************************************
I use this for my Courageous Characters Unit in 6th grade language arts. However, it is easily adaptable to a 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade class. Students research a famous person and create their own foldable using the attached graphic organizer. It is best to run this as a two-sided paper. Use the “fold here” guide on the first page so that the two sides of the face will line up. (It never seems to be “exact” but should be relatively close once the students draw and color the face.) I have included sample pictures of the front and back so that you can see what a student’s final product could look like.
If you are looking for more courageous character ideas, please see my store (From room 123) for my Cesar Chavez I Have Who Has card game, a Cesar Chavez writing prompt and even a Martin Luther King Jr. writing prompts freebie.
