Trying to fit a college-level course of study into one semester of high school is a difficult task! Here is the way I have mapped out my units for the last four years of teaching APHG.
I have found success with "flipping" my class and these plans reflect how I do that. This approach allows for in-class projects, activities and discussion; while the students read, study, and watch videos outside of class. The emphasis is on organizing the course to fit in the time frame available before the Exam in May. These are intended for 80 minute block periods but can be divided into two days for shorter class periods.
These unit plans detail my pacing of the course, including multiple links with resources and activities that add value to your course. These do not include power points or tests.
