This game is a Yahtzee-meets-Bingo style game perfect for number recognition. I originally saw it on pinterest a few years ago and made my own version. I usually play with unifix/snap cubes, but the pic shows how we play it with a Valentine twist. When playing with snap cubes, you have the option of letting the students only place one cube on each number , or allowing them to stack cubes, representing how many times they rolled that number. (Thus creating a 3D graph)! I use four soft foam cubes on which I write the numbers 1-20. The students work in pairs, taking turns spilling the cubes out of a cup and covering the numbers up. It's a really fun game that the students can play with little to no teacher help.
