Product Description
One holiday-themed game targeted 19 different skills?! YES PLEASE!!

This super fun game can be used to target a TON of different receptive and expressive language skills including:

* Who questions
* What questions
* Where questions
* When questions
* Why questions
* Present progressive verbs
* Third person singular verbs
* Future tense verbs
* Subjective pronouns
* Regular past tense verbs
* Irregular past tense verbs
* Regular plural nouns
* Object naming/functions
* Divergent categories
* Convergent categories
* Synonyms
* Antonyms
* 1-step direction following
* 2-step direction following

To prepare: Print a tree sheet for each student. Print desired skill cards. I would recommend printing the sheets on different colored paper for each skill to keep the activity organized. Cut apart the flashcards. Laminate if desired and throw into a bag.

To use: Distribute a tree sheet to each student. Tell each student which color cards they will be working with. Students reach into the bag and pull out a card. If the card is not their “color”, they should put the card back and re-pick. If the card is their color, the student answers the question, follows the direction, works on a grammar skills, etc. Students can put the tree decorations (lower right corner) on their tree. The first person to collect one of each item (lights, star, bow, candy cane, and two different ornaments) wins OR the person who has the largest variety of decorations at the end of the session wins. (Extra cards with the same decoration on them are just “extra decorations”.)

-- Grammar cards – Set 1 can be used to target regular past tense verbs, present progressive verbs, third person singular verbs, and/or future tense verbs.
__ Grammar cards - Set 2 can be used to target irregular past tense verbs, present progressive verbs, third person singular verbs, and/or future tense verbs.
-- Grammar cards – Set 3 can be used to target regular plural nouns.

The questions and pictures in this activity are the same as my other sets of Receptive and Expressive Language Games.
