Happy Holidays! This unit contains 10 Crack Santa’s Code task cards (in both black & white and color), student instructions, a recording sheet and an answer key. Each task card contains a skip counting sequence (5s and 10s) that students must complete and a coded destination. Once the skip counting sequence for the card is completed, each letter of the alphabet will have a matching number. Students must then place the correct letters above their matching numbers for each coded destination to reveal the secret location.
These cards can be used in several ways:
1) Provide each student with a task card to complete. This is a great individual assessment of skip counting.
2) Laminate task cards and place in a math center.
3) Post the task cards around the room and provide students with a recording sheet or a math notebook. Students can choose which task cards to complete and record their work.
**Please note that the recoding sheet has space for four task card answers only. To complete more task cards, provide students would need to be provided with a double-sided recording sheet, multiple copies of the recording sheet or notebook paper.**
**Answer Keys included**
